Pocket Weather Ver1.34
Today画面または単体のコンソール画面で天気予報を表示できるソフト、Pocket Weather($9.95)がVerUpしています。

- Added "Dual Tabbed" today option
- Corrected bug in connectin manager handling which required "Automatic Proxy Selection" option to be enabled (which was not available to select when Connection Manager was enabled).
- Added new selection of connection methods when connection manager is enabled - not certain how the Windows Mobile operating system behaves, as it often appears to have a mind of its own...
- Updated languages following deployment of new translation tool.
- Added support for Simplied Chinese language - only available on devices supporting Chinese region (non-Chinese devices do not have the required fonts)
- Added today screen menu option to enable/disable display of last update time, and of images below forecast
- Added Puerto Rico region - was missing...
- Corrected image timestamp handling - the image timestamp was always UTC based instead of local time
Ver1.3.3のバグFixとのことですが、項目的には結構ありますね。
その中で、「Updated languages following deployment of new translation tool.」とありますが、こちらでPocketWeather用の言語xml作成ツールが公開されているのですね。

このツールは、PocketWeather本体に合わせて自動的に日々更新されているとのことです。
ダウンロードしたpw_lang.zipファイルを解凍すると、Windowsで動くツールのexeと、言語毎のdll、xmlファイルがあります。
このツールでは、言語xmlファイルの読込み・編集・保存ができるようです。dllの作成はできないようですが、同梱のinstructions.txtに、翻訳が終わったxmlファイルをメールで送って下さいという内容が書かれていましたので、SBSH Softwareさんの方でxmlファイルから言語dllを作成することで、PocketWeatherで使えるようになるのだと思います。
jpn.xmlもzipファイルの中にありますが、PocketWeatherは、まだ日本語サポートされていませんので、中身は翻訳後も英語のままでした(^^;。
PocketWeatherを使われている方は、日本語化に挑戦＆SBSH Softwareさんに翻訳完成したjpn.xmlを提供されると、PocketWeather公開ページに日本の国旗アイコンが増える・・・かもしれませんね。
