WindowsCE OS用のインストールCABファイルの編集ができる、高機能なユーティリティ、WinCE CAB Manager($149)がVerUpしています。

New Features
The following new features were added in build 3.0.0.21:

  • The application is now more tolerant of CAB files which were not created and/or edited with utilities which are aware of the special requirements for Windows CE CAB files. It can now open some such files, and save them back out using the correct formatting.
  • The application can now detect and report individual files within a CAB file which contain corrupt data.

Bug Fixes
The following bugs were corrected in build 3.0.0.21:
BUG: "Allow Uninstall" property not loaded correctly from WCM project files.

  • Fixed problem with REG file import where inline comments were not parsed correctly.
  • Fixed problem where main application window would remain locked when an error occurred during a save or file extraction operation.
  • Fixed problem with importing INF files which reference files with a size of zero bytes. These zero-byte files are now imported correctly.

Other Changes
Other changes in build 3.0.0.21 include the following:

  • The application Help file has been updated with the release notes for the WinCE CAB Manager 2.1.0.53 Update Rollup.
  • The REG file import no longer requires a "REGEDIT4" or "Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00" header in the REG file.

フォーマットが一部おかしいようなファイル含め、オープン可能なCABファイルが増えたという感じでしょうか。その他修正等されているようです。
