Rescoが新しいバックアップソフトのβ版を公開しているようです。

Resco Backup creates reserve copies of your PDA on the storage card. This data (called backup set) can be used to restore your PDA in case of problems.
The user can compare backup set against the device and use the results for partial backup or restore or just as safety check. Comparison between backup sets is possible, too.
Customizable profiles (projects) serve for different backup strategies such as daily/weekly backups or separate backup of sensitive data.
Other features:

  • Fast incremental backup (stores just the modifications)
  • Full and custom backups
  • Full and custom restore
  • Backup compression
  • Password protection based on industrial standard AES
  • Backup scheduling (automatic backup)
  • Backup sets can be accessed on the desktop with any good zipper (no extract tool needed)

差分バックアップやカスタマイズ、暗号化、スケジューリングと、他のバックアップソフトでサポートしているような機能は搭載しているようですね。
珍しいのは、最後に書かれている特徴で、バックアップしたセットにデスクトップPCからアクセスする場合は、専用展開ツールは不要で、ZIP解凍できるソフトさえあればよいとのこと。この特徴はちょっと珍しいような。(他にありましたっけ)
β版＆バックアップという重要な部分ですので、それを踏まえた人柱な方は、覗いてみてはいかがでしょうか(^^;;
