PocketPC Installation Creator Ver2.2 RC
CABインストールファイルや、ActiveSync経由のインストーラ等を作成するWindowsPC用ツール、Pocket PC Installation Creatorの次期バージョンのRC版が公開されていました。

1. More advanced builder options for the windows setup wizard.
- Splash Screen for your installations.
- About Button with custom message.
- Beveled Label like installshield.
2. Bugs within the the advanced builder options and relative paths fixed.
3. Multitabbed user interface. No more floating windows taking all the workspace.

New features:
* Vista Compatible. All Vista users must use this verion.
* Import .reg and .rgu files into CAB Creator Module Registry Sections.
* Fixed bug about remembering program's geometry settings.

Changes
* Some more vista progress is made. Minor bugs are left only.
* Builtin SetupDLL.dll is added, which displays a message when installing a cab file created with CAB Creator Module in Mobile Device. This dll is added automatically in unregistered versions and replaces any SetupDLL.dll the user may have.
* Some bugs with Shortcuts are eliminated. Now it is possible to have a Shortcut Section shared among many Device Targets.
* CAB Creator Module now have a cancel button. So, you can revert any changes made to this module when closing it.
2007/08/18
* Vista support completed. Now runs fine under vista. Also user interface is Aero Glass compatible.
* Updated Project Manager.
* Some minor bugs are fixed.

* Some bugs are fixed.
* Updated UI of CAB Creator Module.
* Updated look and feel of Project Manager.
Vista対応等、今月に入ってから積極的にβ更新をされていたようです。RC版は上記フォーラムで公開されています。
標準のインストーラーと比べて、結構良い感じの親切なインストーラーが作れそうですし、インストールCAB作成にも便利なのかも・・と思って勝手にピックアップさせていただいていますが、こちらのインストーラーを使ったソフトってまだ見たことがなかったり・・(^^;
開発されている方で、試されている人がいないのか、日本語環境でもしかして問題があるとか、何か原因があるのでしょうか・・いえ、あえて使う必要は無い訳なんですけど(^^;。
