アラーム音に、WAVだけでなくMP3・OGG等が使え、またタイマー・ストップウォッチ等の機能も備えた高機能なアラーム・タイマーソフト、Chronos for PocketPC($14.95)が大幅にメジャーVerUpされています。

年末はそれほどソフトリリースは無いだろうということで(^^;、長い更新内容ですが、一通り引用させていただきます(ぉぃ

MISC:

  • fixed: Many resources and memory leaks
  • added: WMA support! (wmp10 required)

  • added: 'Auto repair notifications' option
  • changed: Dropped SH3 and MIPS targets, more effective code and decreased a size of installer


HARDWARE KEYS:

  • added: A new redesigned dialog for hardware keys assigning
  • added: Added action: 'Show context menu', 'Start/Pause timer', 'Enabled/disable alarm', 'Go to the next tab', 'Go to the previous tab'
  • fixed: After using hardwar button in Chronos it stops working in wince until soft reset (recorder button for example)


MENU:

  • added: Improved context menus for alarms and timers
  • added: A menu for soft keys in WM2005
  • added: 'Delayed screenshot' and 'Contact developer' menu items (wm2005)
  • added: An ability to copy an alarm and timer from its context menu


SCREENSAVER:

  • added: A screensaver - exceptions list, AC only option
  • added: A slideshow mode for screensaver, now you can view your favorite pictures
  • fixed: A screensaver locked an exe file, that prevents the Chronos from uninstalling/reinstalling


VIBRO & SOUND:

  • added: Sound and vibration settings have been moved to the alarm/timer properties to be accessed easier
  • added: A new better default sound
  • added: Do not vibrate on AC power
  • added: Do vibrate if we cannot initialize sound
  • fixed: Do not set the system volume to 100% if you use ascending volume mode
  • fixed: Vibrate if vibration is turned on, sound is turned off and vibro should vibrate during the sound


STOPWATCH:

  • fixed: A stopwatch when you press a Pause and turn defice off
  • fixed: in stopwatch, clear should also reset the display to 00:00:...
  • fixed: in stopwatch view - after beeing in alarms - when pressing D-pad it opens properties of the alarm selected in alarm's list (only if no other action is assigned explicitely)
  • fixed: centered a stopwatch label
  • added: "Keep device on" option for stopwatch
  • added: Combined start and stage stopwatch buttons
  • added: Enumeration of stopwatch data


ALARMS:

  • added: An autosnooze feature to alarms
  • added: 'Stop snooze' action to alarms context menu
  • fixed: correct range of snooze time in alarm properties dialog


TIMERS:

  • fixed: Add index to the name of each new timer
  • added: Added button 'Reset timer'
  • added: 'Restart timer' and 'Stop sequence' items to menu of a notification (WM2005)
  • added: "keep device on" feature for timers
  • added: "Autosnooze" option
  • removed: Second timers, it is replaced by 'Next timer' mechanism


NOTIFICATIONS:

  • added: Greately improved non system style notification dialogs. Now you can use an entire screen area.
  • fixed: Improved buttons of the notifications balloons for all languages
  • fixed: Improved notification setting code, it is as stable as possible now
  • fixed: Notifications has not been set up after reinstalling if we do not launch chronos
  • fixed: Finish chronos if a notifications does not show a notification dialog


POWER:

  • fixed: Do not sleep a device, turn it off after a notification
  • fixed: May turn off a device immediately after notification if device has been locked and turned on
  • added: Option 'Obey system power settings'


GUI:

  • fixed: An order of controls in several dialogs
  • fixed: Removed SIP button in main window
  • added: Ability to change dialog title height
  • added: A new nice icons theme
  • added: Increased speed of an options dialog loading
  • added: 'Bluetooth connectable' option to a 'bluetooth on' action
  • fixed: support landscape mode in graphical clock
  • fixed: the buttons have been optimized for landscape orientation


TRANSLATIONS:

  • added: French, Italian, Chineze, Chineze taiwan, German, Czech, Turkish, Portugues, Japanese and Polish languages of an interface

私は前のバージョンを使っていなかったので、ピンと来ないところも多いのですが(^^;、WMA対応他、各機能についてかなりの機能追加がされているようです。
また、日本語訳も今回追加されているようで、お使いの方には嬉しいVerUp。ただ、メジャーVerUpということで、お値段もVer2の$9.95から、$14.95に少し値上がりしています。Ver2ユーザーからのUpgradeは、$6.00必要のようです。

アラームソフトは、これが決定版！という選択肢が少ないと思いますので、ちょっと期待したいツールではあります。興味のある方・お使いの方はレビュー等UPしていただけるとー。


あと、ウィルコムファンサイトのソフトウェアコンテストで、優れたアラーム関係のツールが出たら、かなり人気がでるのではと期待していたり・・(^^;
