Skype for Windows Mobile Ver2.2.0.18 Beta
Skype for WindowsMobileのβ版がリリースされています。
今回で、SmartphoneEditionへの対応がされているようです。
公開ページはこちらから、「Skype 2.2 Beta for Windows Mobile」の下にあるDownloadNowリンク→SHARP を選べば、ちゃんと、W-ZERO3,W-ZERO3[es]の二つのリンクが(←W-ZERO3ユーザーの方は、下のリンクではなく、左のリンクから行けば、機種選択ページに直に飛びます(^^;)、出てきます。
Skypeのページをちらっと見た限りでは、更新内容はわかりませんでしたが、いくつかの海外サイトでピックアップされており、そちらに更新内容が書かれてましたので、少し引用させていただきます。
Skype has introduced the Skype 2.2 Beta for Windows Mobile devices, including enhanced support for Pocket PC devices the long due support for Windows Mobile Smartphone device.
As part of the new features released on this version is an enhanced today/home screen providing presence status and event notification (missed calls, new chat messages and voicemails). Proxy support is also being added, with support for regular HTTP or HTTPS proxies, and authenticating HTTPS/SSL and SOCKS5 proxies.
Today画面での状態表示の強化、Proxyサポートの強化がされているのでしょうか。
SmartphoneEditionへの対応は、W-ZERO3シリーズでは関係のない話(W-ZERO3シリーズはPocketPC Editionですので)ではありますが、モバイラーな方々で嬉しい方は多いのではないかと(^^;。

うーん・・・何だか書き方というか内容が結構違うような(^^;。リリースノートの方が細かいような、でもプレスリリース読まないとわからないような更新点も。
日本のサイトでも、すでに色々と取り上げられているようです。プレスリリースの方をベースとした内容のようです。
あとは、はりもぐらさんのところで、W-ZERO3で起動時にエラーが出ると書かれていますが、さてW-ZERO3シリーズではどうなのでしょうか。(自分でSkypeをあれこれ試す気がおきない私・・(ぉぃ))
